Bloomsburg Area YMCA - Policies - General
Proper Attire Required
T-shirts, shorts, sweat suits, leotards, etc. are required for participation in all athletic programs. Only proper, non-marking footwear will be allowed in the gym area.
Liability
YMCA programs, activities and facilities are made possible and utilized on the basis of use at your own risk. Participants should not assume the YMCA responsible in the event of injury, lost, stolen, or damaged items.
Youth
Children under the age of 10 must be accompanied by an adult at all times or enrolled in child watch.
Refund
- No refunds will be given without a sales receipt or other proof of purchase.
- Membership fees are NOT refundable.
- The Executive Director may grant exceptions for extraordinary hardship cases.
- The YMCA reserves the right to cancel any class that does not make minimum enrollment.
- Classes canceled by the YMCA will be refunded in full. Refund may be either check or credit statement (customer's option).
- If a participant drops a class prior to its start, the YMCA will retain a 25% service fee for administrative and processing costs. The balance will be refunded by either check or credit statement.
- After a class has met once, there will be no refunts or credits issued except in a medical emergency. In the case of a medical emergency, a check or credit will be issued for the remaining balakce of the class fee.
- A doctor's note must be presented in order to recieve a refund or credit.
- Credit statements may only be used for class fees and may not be redeemed for cash or check.
