Commit to be Fit - YMCA POWER PLEDGE

- Need some motivation to achive that New Year's Resolution(s) ?
- Want to lose those unhealthy pounds that are slowing you down ?
- Want to lower your blood pressure and/or cholesteral ?
- Like a challenge ?
- Like to set goals ?
Then our next challenge is for you !!! Starting February 18th, you will have the opportunity to take part in our "Commit to be Fit, YMCA Power Pledge". The pledge runs for 12 weeks and will provide you with a variety of categories to choose from to help you get fit and stay fit. Categories include: weight loss, numbe of days logged in the fitness center, number of aerobics classes taken, miles on the treadmills, ellipticals & bikes, floors on the steppers and meters on the rowers.
Here's how it works:
- You establish your own personal goals for the category or categories that you choose to participate in.
- Seek support from family, friends, or co-workers in the form of pledges per pound lost, miles biked, floors stepped, etc.
- Work on goals from February 18 to May 9.
- Collect pledge money at the end based on pounds lost, miles biked, etc.
- Turn in pledge money to the YMCA ( all contributions are tax deductible)
- Pledgers will receive 3 free YMCA guest passes worth $30.00
- Participants are all eligible to earn t-shirts and YMCA bucks.
- Minimum pledge of $50.00 is required to participate.
- Grand prize is one year adult membership to the Bloomsburg YMCA
- All pledges and donations to be used in the purchase of new fitness equipment
