Summer Camp
If you're looking for a great summer camp for your kids, Bloomsburg YMCA hosts a great program!
Ages: 5-12
Time: M-F, 8am-4pm

Summer offers a time full of friendships, fun, and everlasting memories. What better way to experience this than the 2011 Bloomsburg Area YMCA Summer Day Camp? This camp is designed to meet the summertime needs of children, working parents, and families. Our staff emphasizes emotional growth, character development, and physical activities as well as building the self confidence all Y kids deserve.
This camp is based on a 10 week program where the Y provides child care for children ages 5-12 years during the time frame of 8am to 4pm. Before and after camp care is also provided from 6:30am-8am and 4pm-5:30pm. Camp includes crafts, games/sports, enrichment time, character development, guest speakers, field trips/swimming, and much more.
CIT Camp
Ages 13-16
The Bloomsburg Area YMCA Couselor In Training Program was established in 2002. This program creates an opportunity for young adults to develop leadership and jobskills. The CIT's assist camp counselors in providing a variety of activities to campers in a safe and well supervised environment.

Enrolling your child at the Bloomsburg Area YMCA Summer Program Camp is easy. Stop in the Bloomsburg YMCA and pick up a registration packet or print the packet off below.

Fantastic Staff
The YMCA Summer Camp staff will provide a safe environment with planned activities that are exciting and age appropriate. Counselors are selected based on their educational skills, maturity, creativity, and sensitivity to the needs of campers. All counselors have clean backround checks, so that all parents can rest assured that the Bloomsburg Area YMCA counselors are caring and positive role models. Each counselor is certified in First Aid. Child Abuse Prevention, Blood Borne Pathogens, Fire Saftey, and Emergency Action Plans.
